Dustin Waters is one of many parents not following gun safety and kids. You cannot put them in a desk drawer...you cannot put firearms high on a closet shelf,,, you cannot put them in your underwear drawer ....you cannot hide firearms from kids.
Biometric vaults are the best way to prevent these tragedies. Ultimately kids must learn firearm safety as early as possible.
